The Waiting Game

Ok so does this happen to you or is it just me? The question on everyone’s lips sooooo when are you getting married? People are so funny I don’t really know what they want me to say: “Don’t worry about what I’m doing worry about why you’re worried about what I’m doing.” My future is in God’s hands! #Godknows :-). When you become accustomed to living your life for Christ there are certain things that become essential – one of them is trusting God. #whentheykeeptalking

The real question they should be asking is – teach me how to wait! Marriage is not the end of the game, even after you get married, you still have to wait on God! Don’t get distracted by what God is doing in anyone else’s life – just wait. People always want to question what God is doing – Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?? (Job 38 v 4)

Waiting is trusting:

These days people put their trust in all kinds of things, when you go on holiday you buy a ticket and board a plane, you trust the pilot to get you to your destination right? You don’t keep running up to the front of the plane asking him questions – are we still going to America? Not China? Are you sure you’re going in the right direction? Can I see your pilot’s license please? You don’t sit down panicking the whole journey worrying about whether you will make it to your destination? You don’t take matters into your own hand and start trying to fly the plane yourself! You sleep, you watch films, you chat to friends, you WAIT and believe that the pilot will get you to your destination. Right? Well that’s what it means to trust. #Jesusisthepilot #waitingistrusting

One night I was talking on the phone to my friend about this whole subject of marriage & I fell asleep with my bible next to my pillow….
